Areas
Where we travel.
Balance Bites provides home veterinary visits across Melbourne, generally within approximately 45 minutes’ drive of Preston. Travel time varies with traffic, your exact address and the day’s appointment route.
Travel within our usual service area is included. Nutrition and CBD consultations are also available by telehealth, wherever you are.
Our usual service area
Our usual service area includes the following suburbs and surrounding neighbourhoods:
Northern suburbs
Inner Melbourne
North-eastern suburbs
Eastern suburbs
Inner southern suburbs
Western and north-western suburbs
Further areas by arrangement
We may also be able to visit Mernda, Doreen, Wollert, Craigieburn, Roxburgh Park, Diamond Creek, Research, Ringwood, Ringwood North, Mitcham, Donvale, Burwood, Glen Iris, Caulfield, Brighton, Altona, Williams Landing, Truganina, Point Cook, Tarneit and Werribee, depending on your address and our appointment route.
Visits beyond our usual area
If you live farther away, please get in touch. A one-off consultation may be possible depending on your pet’s needs and our schedule.
For treatments requiring regular visits, such as acupuncture, we will discuss whether we can offer a practical ongoing schedule before starting care. Longer journeys can make frequent appointments harder to arrange, even where an initial visit is possible.
An additional travel surcharge may apply for longer journeys. We will confirm any extra cost with you before booking.
